I have always loved stories and the magic they bring audiences. I’ve been writing and telling stories for as long as I can remember. The idea of bringing words together to create entire universes and societies, to help those without a platform, and to give a voice to the voiceless has always been an alluring profession. As a child, I never thought I would be able to make a career out of storytelling.
I attend Kennesaw State University and will graduate with a major in journalism, minor in professional writing and a certificate in multi-platform news reporting. Almost as soon as I stepped foot on campus, I began writing for the Sentinel and the Odyessy Online. In January 2018, I became the Opinion Editor for the Sentinel and landed an internship with Hers Magazine in the summer.
When I’m not writing or studying, you’ll find me in the mountains with my fiance and dog, or quoting Walt Whitman and Harry Potter. I write to tell stories and to give a voice to the voiceless. Happy reading!
